The Follett 00110387 Relay 24V controls electrical switching by using a low-voltage signal to open or close a higher-voltage circuit in commercial equipment. An internal coil becomes energized, when current flows creating a magnetic field that moves contacts to change the circuit state and manage load flow. A return spring restores the contacts when power is removed, allowing repeatable switching cycles without manual intervention. It is installed within equipment control assemblies or refrigeration system panels to interface with switching components and electrical loads and is secured via a relay socket interface depending on the system design.
