The Keating 004238 Burner Orifice #43 is an accuracy gas-metering element of burner assemblies of compatible cooking parts. This threaded fitting has a calibrated opening which controls the amount of gas flowing into the burner. The orifice is placed at the burner inlet connection and it directs the gas in the supply line to the burner mixing chamber. The sizing of the #43 defines the amount of fuel that is provided to the burner before ignition takes place. The orifice when installed correctly enables controlled distribution of gases in the burner assembly and enables proper formation of flames in the equipment heating process.
