The Blakeslee 01902 Grinder Plate is a perforated cutting component used in compatible commercial systems. The plate has 1/8-inch openings, which define the size of the food particles passing through during grinding. Positioned against the rotating grinder knife, it provides a stationary cutting surface as product is forced through its perforations. The knife shears the material against the plate while the openings regulate the resulting particle size. Mounted within the grinder head, the plate works with the knife and feed mechanism to control the texture and consistency of ground food as it moves through the processing chamber.
