The Cleveland 08166 Steamer Element is a heating element with a 12000 watts rating and is intended to run at 240 volts. It is fitted in commercial steam cooking components where it boils water to create steam to prepare food. It is mounted in the 2-1/4 inch on-center mounting configuration, and is a component of the heat generation system of the steamer. It serves to transform electrical energy into heat to enable the appliance to sustain adequate production of steam to ensure that the appliance can cook consistently as scheduled.
