The Market Forge 10-7955 Steam Safety Relief Valve 15 PSIG protects steam by preventing over-pressurization and potential explosions in commercial equipment. This 3/4-inch valve is installed in the steam system to provide controlled pressure relief, and help prevent excessive pressure from reaching connected components. The valve remains closed during normal operation while internal pressure stays below the set point. When pressure rises above 15 PSIG the valve opens, to discharge steam and reduce system pressure. As pressure returns to the operating range, the valve closes and restores the system to normal operation.
