The Garland 1087800 Range BJWA Thermostat with Rear Gas Inlet Temp Range 250-550F 48" Capillary 3/16" X 11-3/16" in Bulb is a temperature controller that is applicable in commercial gas cooking equipment. The mechanism of action is that it detects the heat by a bulb attached to a capillary tube that reacts to changes in temperature and controls the flow of gas to keep the preferred cooking range. It is installed in the control system and fits within the compatible ranges that are connected to the burner assembly.
