The Sloan 115 Flushometer Toilet Valve 3.5 GPF is a pressure-assisted flush valve that uses a diaphragm mechanism that is activated by a flush handle or sensor. Once activated, water is allowed to flow through the valve seat in a measured amount to the bowl and the mechanism resets automatically when the line pressure levels off and the diaphragm is returned to its sealed position for the next cycle. The valve is usually placed in commercial restroom flush tank assemblies between the water supply line and toilet inlet for controlled flushing operation.
