The Southbend 1164805 Ignition Kit W/Spark Module Pilot Assembly starts the ignition process by producing a controlled spark that lights the pilot burner. The spark module measures the timing and frequency of the sparks to allow a steady ignition each time the system is turned on. The assembly is to be mounted in the burner section of the appliance and is to be connected directly to the pilot and gas lines to allow accurate ignition. It contains all the required integration parts, including electrodes, wiring and mounting so that it can easily be installed.
