The Southbend 12812 Spider Grate is a cast iron cooking surface that fits in commercial ranges and cooktops, and has a maximum overall profile of 3" and a longest P diameter of 13-1/8. It provides a steady platform to pots and pans, besides permitting even heat distribution throughout the cooking vessel. This is installed directly on the burner on the equipment, and to keep the correct spacing and support in the cooktop system.
