It work by letting the gas pass freely and preventing any possible flame spread by a fine mesh system. This part is normally fitted directly into the burner assembly or gas line of commercial cooking equipment so that it is firmly seated between the fuel source and the burner to operate without causing any interference with the normal flow of gas.
