The Garland 2206400 Oven Pilot Burner is an essential part with 1/4” tube diameter. Its main use is to maintain continuous flame which ignites the main burner when gas is let out to facilitate cooking and prevent the build up of gas. This pilot burner does not depend on any other source of power, which is an advantage when there is a power blackout. Advantages are simplicity of use, reliable ignition, and safety improvements such as a thermocouple that stops gas supply when the flame is extinguished. Especially suited for commercial and residential use, it provides the better performance in cooking processes.
