The Southbend 3-SRV8/1 Safety Relief Valve 3/4" 35 PSI works by opening when the internal pressure surpasses the preset limit, and relieves excess pressure out of the system in controlled pressure assemblies that keep the pressure regulation response. It works with a calibrated spring system that reacts to pressure accumulation, and can be discharged to a controlled amount until normal conditions are restored and the valve automatically reseats to prevent unsafe accumulation during working cycles.
