The Delfield 351-6468 Start/Run Capacitor Assembly store and release electrical energy to start the motor by giving an initial voltage improve to the compressor circuit. When the motor is operating, the run capacitor continues to phase shift the winding circuit to facilitate constant electrical flow and constant torque in the operating motor, providing phase separation between start and run windings to provide efficient motor start and operation control. It is mounted in the electrical compartment of the equipment usually close to the compressor assembly to be integrated with the control circuitry mounted with mounting hardware and connected with labeled terminals to be integrated into the circuit.
