The Zurn 38-ZW3870XLT-4P Thermostatic Mixing Valve 3/8" is a thermostatic water mixing valve to mix hot and cold water to a controlled outlet temperature in commercial systems. 3/8" connections, lead free for potable water. The valve is normally used in commercial or institutional plumbing systems that require tempered water to be used in other systems like hand washing stations, secure shower systems or process water lines. In the system, it controls water temperature by controlling the flow of water internally, based on the temperature of the water being sensed, so as to maintain a consistent flow of water to the system.
