The Manitowoc 40-1097-9 Water Curtain is a flexible barrier positioned across the opening of compatible equipment to control water movement during the ice production cycle. Mounted at the designated evaporator or water-trough area, the curtain moves as ice forms and falls, allowing produced ice to pass while limiting splashing and containing circulating water within the intended section. Its position also separates the ice-making area from the surrounding cabinet space. The curtain works with the water distribution and ice harvest assembly, supporting controlled separation between the falling ice and the active water circuit during operation.
