The Star Mfg 40-FW-0002 Food Warmer Element is a heating part used to provide heat to food for holding it at serving temperatures in commercial kitchens. It is 13 inches by 2 inches in size providing coverage over the holding surface in the designated heated assemblies. It can be housed within the cabinet and is controlled by the thermostat and electrical circuit, which will cycle heat as necessary. Failure or reduction of this element results in failure in proper heating operation, instability in temperature control, and inconsistent performance during foodservice operations, and replacing the element will restore these operations.
