The Hobart 405569-2 Safety Magnet Head 3-1/2" TS is a secure interlock parts that is used in commercial foodservice equipment. It operates as a magnetic sensing switch to sense the location of access doors or panels, and is used to control the operation of equipment depending on whether the protective barrier is closed properly. In normal usage, it is fitted into commercial systems like food processing machines where the secure of the operators is required during the operation. The switch is connected to the control circuit of the machine and does not allow the machine to operate when the magnet alignment is lost.
