The Fisher Manufacturing 6000-6000 Drain Strainer is a replacement part for commercial sink and plumbing assemblies to assist in controlling solid debris from entering the drain system. It is placed at the drain opening to let water and other liquid waste flow through but to keep larger particles that may cause blockages. This strainer is installed in commercial kitchens, foodservice facilities, and other washing areas. It is the first point of filtration in the drainage assembly, which helps to prevent unwanted material from traveling further in connected piping during normal use of the sink and cleaning.
