The Silver King 63020 Defrost Heater Evaporator is an electrical heating system for use in commercial equipment to aid defrost during cooling. This heater assembly uses 230V power and is mounted in the evaporator compartment of compatible UCF7F freezer units. While in use, it works to eliminate frost build-up on the evaporator surface to ensure correct airflow and cooling effectiveness. Replacement is generally carried out during maintenance when the heating performance and electrical continuity become inconsistent and irregular with the normal use of the equipment for commercial cooling operation.
