The Wells 66551 KA Thermostat Bulb Auxiliary Switch is a temperature sensing relay that is used in commercial cooking equipment for thermal control during operation to control heating operations. It has a 96" capillary and a 3/16" x 12" sensor to fit into the specified thermostat system. This is installed in heating compartments and senses the conditions. Activated during operation, it is not deactivated when repeated cooking or warming is done in commercial foodservice settings. Typically replacement is performed during servicing when there is a loss of sensing response or loss of switch communication during regular kitchen use.
