The Hobart 711327 GS Thermostat 3/8" X 5-3/8" 30" variable using its probe and control electrical current flow to keep the heat at predetermined level. It switches between internal calibration-linked component on and off in response to increasing or decreasing temperature. The unit is normally mounted in compatible commercial kitchen equipment where temperature monitoring and control are needed. It is connected to the system via wiring terminal and is combined with heating element to control the operation cycle. Its probe design enables it to be exposed directly to the controlled Condition to provide a consistent temperature response during use.
