The Dormont 75FV Gas Shut-off Valve is fitted with a 3/4 FPT connection, clearly identified with a yellow handle, and may be operated manually. It is used to permit restricted flow of gas into the gas supply line, as well as to completely shut the supply line. This valve is usually installed in series, which allows safe servicing or emergency shutdowns by interrupting the supply of gas in a short period of time. Its application in a gas distribution system is to assist in the operational safety and control that can accurately control gas flow as well as system integrity.
