The assembly spreads water over the designated freezing surface so that water can contact the evaporator evenly as it circulates through the machine. Positioned above the evaporator, it works with the water supply line and distribution passages to direct flow across the ice-forming area. Proper water delivery through this assembly allows the freezing surface to receive a consistent supply during production.
