The Dean 8073843 Fuse works on the operation of conducting electric current through a controlled metal connection, which is sensitive to overcurrent. When the current is higher than the rated value, the link heats, separates, and breaks the circuit to prevent further flow of power. This fuse is placed in the internal circuit of the compatible commercial kitchen equipment to provide circuit protection. It assists in supporting systems of up to 250 volts and a 3-amp rating. The design enables the regulated flow of current in the normal operation and the reaction to the abnormal electrical conditions.
