The Hobart 922008 Safety Valve BASO controls the flow of gases and closes the supply when the pressure is more than the calibrated limit by reacting to the internal sensing mechanism. It works by a spring-loaded control element responding to changes in pressure, and adjusting a valve seat to open or close the passage to allow controlled flow through burner assemblies. It is installed in commercial cooking gas line assemblies, between the fuel supply line and burner manifold to provide security interruption and pressure control during operation in cooking equipment configurations that do not change the existing fuel routing architecture.
