The Blodgett BL4701 Nickel Plated is a removable wire rack designed for use in commercial ovens to support food pans during baking and roasting cycles. Measuring 20.81 inches front to back and 28.25 inches left to right with a 0.38-inch frame, it fits into the oven internal rack guides to hold trays at fixed elevations for consistent heat exposure. It is installed as part of the oven shelving system and allows multiple cooking levels to be used simultaneously. In practice, it is replaced in restaurant kitchens, bakeries commercial foodservice operations where high-volume oven use requires accurate rack support and positioning.
