The Blodgett BL8717 Burner Orifice 72 is a high accuracy gas metering element, which is fitted in compatible commercial ovens. It is installed in the burner assembly and regulates the amount of gas sent to the burner to maintain the features of proper combustion and flame. This hole has a direct effect of ensuring proper heat production and temperature stability in the oven. It is regularly changed when servicing burners or converting fuel and when it becomes blocked, worn or incorrectly sized and thus the flow of gas and the overall performance of the appliance is impaired.
