The Blodgett BL8717 (PK/2) Orifice Set has two gas metering components that regulate the flow of fuel into compatible main burners. The orifices are installed at the gas inlet point to control the flow volume to assist in balanced flame output. Their positioning provides regulated burning and also assists in the even distribution of temperature throughout the cooking surface. When the burner performance is changed due to the restriction or distortion of the flow, replacement is recommended. Proper operation of the orifice assists in the response to heat and consistent system behaviour in the operating conditions of the commercial kitchen.
