The Bunn BU5515-0000 Coffee Brewer Gasket operates by pushing together two surfaces that are attached to form a seal that controls the flow of water and brewed coffee during operation. It allows pressure and temperature variations so that internal components are separated. The gasket is fitted in a joint within the internal brew assembly of the coffee brewer. It is made to a diameter of 1.5 inches to fit into certain equipment apertures. Its circular shape allows the correct positioning of the adjoining part, that confinement of liquids in the specific channels during the brewing process.
