The Imperial 2068-1 Hood Orifice is intended to be used in commercial cooking equipment involving the use of burners. This is a high-input and natural gas-rated orifice made of brass. It is fitted at the inlet of the burner to control the flow of gas before ignition and to control combustion. This ensures that in foodservice operations, the flame patterns and the heat levels are uniform across cooking surfaces. The gas valve and burner assembly are also part of the gas delivery system of the appliance, which controls the supply of fuel, maintaining the same cooking performance and operation.
