The Intermetro 5PCX Swivel Stem Caster is a 5-inch caster with a poly wheel designed for compatible commercial shelving storage and material-handling equipment. It installs into the caster socket or mounting point at the base of the equipment using its stem connection. The swivel design allows the wheel assembly to rotate freely around the mounting axis which helps operators change direction while moving the unit. The poly wheel rolls across suitable floor surfaces and supports the equipment during repositioning. This caster works as part of the equipment’s mobility system and is used when an existing caster needs replacement.
