The Cuno CFS440 Scale Inhibitor Cold Water 3/4" NPT 100°F 6 GPM is designed to reduce scale formation and is used in commercial foodservice equipment. It is commonly set up on ice machines, beverage dispensers, coffee brewers, and other water-fed appliances. The system conditions incoming water to assist in minimizing mineral deposits that can accumulate on internal components and affect equipment performance. As part of a preventative water treatment program, it protects plumbing and heating surfaces reduce maintenance requirements in commercial equipment.
