The Champion 0501706 Glasswasher Drive Gear 54-Teeth Black is a gear part that rotates the motor to the wash mechanism by interlocking teeth. The gear interacts with adjacent shafts to sustain timed rotation cycle and helps to sustain uniform mechanical coordination when using the glass washer by transforming input torque to regulated rotational output throughout the drive train. Installation is in the drive section of glasswashing unit between the motor and wash pump assembly, installed in the gearbox housing to allow it to be properly aligned with the mating gear system component.
