The Component Hardware Group W38-1000 Flush Latch and Strike is a mechanical type of securing part that can be used on cabinetry, access panels, lockers, or access panels of any other type. It works by contacting the latch with the strike plate in case of closure of the door or panel and locking it in place until it is opened manually. This is a flush-mounted latch that would fit into a recessed area on the door side and the strike would be mounted on the frame. It is applied in residential, commercial and industrial facilities to offer access control.
