The Cuno CU56316-04 Filter Cartridge removes small suspended particles from fluid before it reaches the downstream section of commercial equipment. Rated at 1 micron, the cartridge uses filter media designed to retain fine particulate matter from the passing fluid. It sits inside the designated housing, where the inlet directs fluid toward the cartridge and the outlet carries the filtered flow onward. The cartridge seals against the housing to limit fluid from passing around the media. During operation, particles remain captured within the filter material while the treated fluid continues through the connected circuit.
