The True E810812 Type-R Door Gasket Black 24-3/8" X 26" is a tight seal around the refrigerator door that compresses when the door is closed so that air does not escape. It is made to be tight on the edges so that there is constant contact with the frame. This gasket is fitted directly on the door perimeter and it replaces the current seal to make sure that they fit well and work in the refrigerator unit. It can be easily attached, so its design does not conflict with the size of the specified door and maintains the desired closure mechanism.
