The Southbend PE-193 Float Switch is water level control component designed for placed in commercial steam systems. The switch mounts inside the water reservoir or related control assembly, and monitors the fluid level through a floating mechanism. As water level changes the float moves to activate or deactivate the electrical contacts within the switch. This action sends signals to the equipment control system to regulate water supply, and maintain the required operating level. The float switch works with the steam generator components to support proper equipment operations.
