Garland GL2200602 Thermocouple is a temperature sensing part that is used with compatible commercial cooking equipment. It measures the temperature of the burner or the source of heat and sends a signal to the control system to control the burner or heating element. When the thermocouple stops giving the correct temperature or stops producing the required signal, it is normally replaced. It is 24 inches long and it assists in the proper operation of the appliances by assisting in the maintenance of the proper cooking temperature and avoiding overheating and the equipment works in the usual commercial conditions.
