The Cecilware GML027A Safety Thermostat LCH is a manual-reset high-limit control used in commercial heating systems to interrupt power when the oil temperature exceeds a fixed setpoint. It is mounted in the fryer control circuit with a 5/16-inch by 3-3/8-inch sensing bulb positioned in the tank and a 36 inch capillary routed to the control housing. When the sensed temperature reaches the setpoint the internal switch opens, to shut down the heating elements and prevent overheating. The control must be reset after the temperature drops and the fault condition is cleared.
