The Bakers Pride M1038X Thermostat 3/16" X 14-1/4" Bulb and 1/2" FPT is a spare part gas control element that is used into control the temperature of commercial appliances. It has an FDTO-1 type design with a sensing bulb and capillary tube that measures the internal temperature of the appliance and regulates the amount of gas flow to maintain a constant temperature, usually between about 200°F and 500F. It is a key component in the control system of the appliance commonly used in deck ovens and cooking equipment. The thermostat is fitted behind the control panel and the sensing bulb is placed inside cooking cavity so that it can accurately and consistently regulate the heat when in use.
