The Nemco NEM56600-1 Easy Tomato Slicer 3/16 Inch is meant to be used in commercial food preparation spaces where there is a need to slice produce uniformly. It is fitted with a fixed 3/16-inch blade grid which delivers uniform tomato slices to be used in sandwiches, burgers and salads. The unit is placed on a countertop and works by moving the product through a manual push handle that directs the product through aligned cutting blades. The frame is used to hold the blade assembly in place to ensure the same cutting action each time, and this ensures consistent cutting performance in a typical foodservice preparation condition.
