The Nieco 4434-RH Platen 1600W 208V RH-950 warms the bread surfaces in a commercial conveyor broiler which is placed above the beltline. It applies a controlled amount of heat to the buns as they pass through the cooking area. When in operation, the contact surface is heated electrically to toast. It cooks bread concurrently with products to ensure coordinated production in the system, and heating assists in uniform browning and timing between batches. The platen assists in maintaining the flow of production and assists in the daily preparation of food in the quick-service kitchen.
