The Groen Z096706 Propane Gas Pilot Burner/Ignitor is a combustion system component used in compatible gas-fired cooking equipment. Installed adjacent to the main burner assembly it generates and maintains a pilot flame that ignites the primary gas burner during operation. The integrated ignitor produces the spark required to light the propane gas supplied to the pilot burner initiating the combustion sequence. The assembly works with the gas valve, ignition controls, flame-sensing components and main burner to establish controlled burner ignition and support proper operation of the equipments heating system.
