The Garland 1842901 half-size gas temperature probe is a sensory element that is applied to internally compatible commercial cooking equipment. It has a 2-inch probe with an inbuilt flange bracket that detects a change of heat and sends signals via 8-inch leads with an encapsulated plug. This probe is attached to the cooking cavity or heat path where there is a need to have an accurate temperature. It operates in the appliance system together with the control assembly to the operation of the burners and the desired cooking temperature when used normally.
