The Cleveland KE50556-2 Water Level Probe is replacement part to be used in the KGL40 as a way of monitoring and checking the correct level of water in the system. It is installed in the sensing system of the kettle, and it communicates with the control circuit to ensure that the kettle has water at the start and the end of heating cycles. This is needed in order to ensure that the appliance is secure and facilitates uniform heat transfer during cooking.
