The Pitco PT60148101 Solenoid Valve 24VAC regulates gas flow within the commercial fryer system by opening and closing an electromagnetic passage when connected. It is controlled by a thermostat and allows or prevents gas flow through the valve assembly by moving an electrically actuated plunger inside the valve assembly to regulate the gas flow in the combustion pathway. It is mounted in the gas fryer control system between the control module and the gas line assembly to connect the electrical control input to the gas delivery line for controlled operation of the burners during the ignition sequence control in the fryer gas circuit.
