The Pitco PTPP11131 Ignitor Flame sensor is a combination proving component used in compatible commercial gas fryer. It mounts at the burner assembly where the ignitor electrode generates the spark required to light the gas while the flame sensor verifies that ignition has occurred by sending a flame rectification signal to the ignition control module. This input allows the control system to keep the gas valve open during normal operation and shut off the gas if no flame is detected supporting proper burner startup and secure heating performance.
