The Scotsman 11-0514-02 Ice Machine Purge Valve is a water-control component used in the commercial equipment. It manages the discharge of water from the machine during the purge portion of the ice-making cycle. When activated by the control system the valve opens to direct unwanted water and mineral buildup toward the drain. Once the purge period ends the valve closes to retain water within the machine for normal operation. The valve connects to the water and drain circuits at its designated mounting location and works with the machine controls to regulate the purge process.
