The Hatco R02.07.004.00 Ceramic Element generates heat to warm or maintain the temperature of food or equipment surfaces in commercial units. The 1000W, 240V element works with the connected thermostat or control system to provide controlled heating during normal equipment operation. The element converts electrical energy into heat through its internal resistance and transfers that heat to the surrounding area or component. It is installed in the designated heating assembly where it connects to the unit electrical circuit. When power is supplied the element heats according to the equipment control settings.
