The American Range A17004 Radiant Cover is a cast iron part that is 19.5 inches long and it is meant to evenly spread the heat over the cooking surface of commercial ranges. It is placed over burners and it guides thermal energy outwards and internal components are not exposed to direct flame. The radiant cover allows equal cooking without hot spots and constant level of heat. The replacement of the radiant cover maintains the even heat distribution, preworks the system parts, and maintains the uniform cooking performance, which supports the work under the conditions of a commercial kitchen.
